Hello! I am a retired member of The Canadian Armed Forces (July 1968-September 1900)(Flight Enginer 1982-1990). Was FE on Sea King and Aurora.
I would love to be part of The Canadian Flight Engineers Association and will be sending my application for membership soon.
Hoping that The Canadian Flight Engineers Association will accept my request!

I'm retired FE military and commercial. Hercs and DC8's. I have always had an interest in wartime, aircraft history. My father was a wartime Navigator in Burma.

Currently Historian for the RAF Flight Engineer and Air Engineer Association in UK.

Touching base with you guys as in a couple of months I am going to get access to a History Room at RAF Linton on Ouse, near York in England where two RCAF Lancaster (I believe) squadrons were based in WWII.

I will be researching a bit before I'm shown around by a (tame) pilot. I should be able to take photos. I am told there is definitely a Canadian 'angle' at the base.

I am a retired RAF Master Engineer (Warrant Officer) and civil Flight Engineer and flew C130, L1011 and DC10 as main types.

Rather hoping IF information 'cross pollinates', we can share it.

Thoughts? Any interest in that as a proposal?

Retired FE on the 413 SQN CH149 Cormorant in 2008. Prior to that served as Tac Hel FE with 427 Sqn on CH146Griffons. Presently employed with Bombardier Aerospace in Moose Jaw. If any one is in the Moose Jaw area give me a buzz.
