Fascinating event, fun watches. I find the design of these watches much to my liking. Interestingly, the the event ran from 1980 to 2000, a period, I think, when watch design was pretty bold and quartz watches allowed for inexpensive ways for companies to express their image. The event drew on the romance of adventure and I think the watches mostly supported this theme. There is good drama to them. I am new to researching them, but from what I have seen there is a consistency of design throughout. Some fall a little flat, most have that combination of technical, vintage, sport and exotic adventure - not boring designs.

fantastic, excellent!!! I love you, man. I just found your web page while I was browsing LE BON COIN.com in France.
I have a 1988 or 1989 model??? I'm not sure myself. It hasn't worked for 25 years but I still keep it in my personal treasure box. I won't sell it for the same weight of pure gold.
loves
edouard

I received a Camel Trophy Topchrono watch for the 18th birthday. I still have it but I need a new strap which will be the watch's 3rd. It was bought from Finnies the Jeweler in Aberdeen about 1997.
