Hey,
I wrote the song Grace with Stacy Pushkar. I just did a search for Stacy and I found your site. Not a surprise that I love a lot of the singers you feature. I still love Kate Bush's first 4 or so albums. We have long broke up but Stacy has some really good kids music cds produced by her husband John, who also produced our "july" cd.

You turned me on to Kate in the 80s at KKFI; I lived in Lenexa and visited you once at the station.

Last spring I watched a PBS Great Performances
special featuring Jackie Evancho; the young classical-crossover singer. Completely swept me
away.

Was just thinking it would be great if she had
some exposure to Kate and the other artists on
your list; instead of just the Gaga-esqe wierdness
so many young girls are fond of nowdays.

Hi! I've been intoxicated by the voice of French chanteuse Nolwenn Leroy for years... attended concerts and was fortunate to spend some personal time with her. She's gorgeous, charismatic, yet a tremendous person, charming and generous, and has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.. and she can interpret. She finished high school in the States, and would like nothing better than to perform here. Seriously, I can't stop listening to this voice, it's truly unique (her timbre is extraordinary)... and haunting. So I hope you enjoy. Thanks for the listen. Hello. I loved your site, we have quite a few tastes alike.
I also love Female Voices. I'm really interested in some of
the girls i don't know or haven't ever heard, but it has
been quite a challenge, cause for some of them i haven't
been able to find their MP3s nor their CDs in my country,
and since i don't own a credit card myself to buy through
internet it's well... quite hard. So... PLEASE!!! help me

I'm sure Kate would have been honoured and touched to
have her haunting song head-lining a program featuring such
diverse and talented female artists...

Each time I hear the music and lyric of "Suspended in
Gaffa" it still possesses me and grabs my soul as if I were
listening for the first time..I can never quite explain
it...even to myself.

Perhaps we will see some updates on your site
sometime...I will check back!
