Impressive website. I stumbled across this in my research for my great grandfather Leonard Petznik (or Petznick). His father was David Petznick, who was mentioned in the letter between Arthur and Erna! Imagine my shock and delight when I read that letter, as I have not been able to find much on this side of the family. Leonard and my great grandmother divorced in 1927 and it's as if he dropped off the face of the earth until he was mentioned in his fathers obituary in 1939 and then again in his mothers in 1949. My grandmother never recalls seeing him growing up except for the distinct feeling of him watching her from a distance. I do however have one photo of him and my great grandmother with my great uncle as a baby at the family farm in Benton Harbor, Michigan. And I have another photo, which you can barely make out any faces due to the blending of the photo foreground with the photo background, of the Petznick family. I would love to hear more from you or anyone that is related. You may email me at prefs22 |

I am looking for any photos of Willie C Petznick. He would have been a great-grandfather to me. I did find a picture of his father Gottfried. Any help would be great!!
I still have plenty of ties to the Creston, Iowa area. |
