Still looking for my best sailing buddy at Tal Handaq Jillian Walker. I believe her Dad was a Major. Does anyone know of her? I last saw her in Crediton, Devon at her wedding in September 1977. She was working as a nurse at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.. I would love to get in touch with her. I'm now living in Dawlish, Devon.
Best wishes to all who have such happy memories of their time in Malta â˜ºï¸ |

Just noticed a programme for the Scottish Play (1968). Having nearly failed to learn it I can still remember my main speech (My former speeches have but hit your thoughts and on and on ad nauseam) - and it remains a favoutite play. No programme for "Dear Brutus" (1967) though (Played Coade, a 65 year old, at 14 - I now realise what I was doing wrong!)

Greetings all. Unfortunately, due to I'll health, I don't remember very much of our time in Malta. We lived in Sliema, went to Tigne Beach a lot, lived in the Tower Rd. flats for some time. My elder brother Roger, my younger sister Julie, and I all had very red hair and freckles. Father Del and Mother Terri (Hilda) went to the tennis club in Sliema and were brilliant dancers. I do vividly remember my pottery class with a teacher who wore cordoroy pants with a sailer flap instead of a fly, he made a beautiful model of Europa and the Bull which I tried very hard to mimic. He was the reason I got 'O' level Pottery.. I was 'in love'. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me or my family. The single name I remember is Brian Ibbotson, I have a photo of him on Tigne beach. |
