Well, I showed up to our 2nd Tourney for 2015 yesterday, at Seaside, CA Horseshoe Pitching Club. It was great to see you all that attended, pitched, helped with the tournament, etc. I haven't pitched nearly 6 years, other than the tournament in Apr 2015. I was rather shocked I pitched my 1st game of the tourney, with almost 37% average... My 2nd game was a bit lower and then I was very exhausted and just pitched not so hot after that. Anyways, I feel now to be grateful being at the Seaside Club pitching... At least able to pitch regardless of average... I showed up.... And was happy to see you all... thank you everybody.... Just wanted to pass this out. Thanx to Gail & Casey Sluys... Thompson, his wife, Pippi their dog and the rest of Seaside Crew. Without you guys, don't think I would be pitching. Peace!!!!!!!

Hi, I just found your site through the SF Horseshoe site. I have some photos from a tournament there in 1964, plus a few other images that you may be interested in. My Dad, John (Jack) O'Brien (he passed away in 1993) played in Golden Gate Park and San Jose for several decades, against some of the best at the time, including Don Titcomb, and many others and won several tournaments over the years. There's several players images that I don't know, but hopefully someone will recognize them. If interested, please let me know and I will forward them along to you. I appreciate your time. Regards, Tom O'Brien |

I enjoy your website. I think it looks great. I am a Southern California pitcher and like to travel from time to time. |
